        GENERAL RULES 2) Any rules or regulations not in this book shall be decided by track officials, they’re decisions will be final. 3) Any driver or crew member is responsible for any and all injuries caused to their property or themselves, even death. Drivers, crew members and spectators are present at the racetrack at their own risk. Butler County Motor Sports Park is not liable for any accident or injury to any property or person. All drivers must sign waiver before entering pit area. 4) Track reserves the right to reject the entry of any car, driver or individual. 5) Track reserves the right to inspect any car at any time. Failure to do this will result in disqualification with out refund of money. 6) All drivers must be at least 14 years old, but if under the age of 21, must sign driver release form. 7) There will be no alcohol or other drugs allowed in pit area at anytime! 8) No one will be allowed in pit area with out visible, current pit pass. 9) Any person 12 years old or older will be required to purchase a pit pass. 10) Any person under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, do not let children wander around in pit area unsupervised. 11) Any person or persons giving verbal, physical abuse or talking in a disrespectful manner to the track official or crew members and acting in a disorderly fashion, will cause that driver to be immediately disqualified, and subject to fine or suspension. 12) Un-sportsman-like conduct or disrespectfulness of any kind will not be tolerated. 13) Under no circumstances is any driver, crewmember, or persons allowed to approach the flag stand. 14) There must be at least 8 cars to be considered a class (each race). 15) Any car that causes 3 cautions will be black-flagged. Your car needs some adjustments. 16) If any race is cancelled because of weather conditions, with less than half the races completed, no purse will be paid, and spectators will keep their ticket stub as a rain check to be used the following week. If more than half the races are completed, the races for that night will be considered complete with no refunds or rain checks. Uncompleted feature events will be run the next regular race night. 17) No mirrors or two-way radios allowed in any racecar in any class. 18) BCMS reserves the right to change, add or delete any rule or regulation, at any time, upon their discretion, to better suit the track. 19) All cars will be weighed each race. 20) During a red light, all cars must come to a complete stop. No cars will be allowed to go into the pit until the red light has ended. 21) All vehicles that are not pulling a race car will be charged $25 each to park in the pits. 22) If you own a pit stall but are not racing, you will be charged $25 to park in the pits. Late Model Body and Chassis: 1) Standard dirt late model type bodies 2) No wings or roof mounted spoilers 3) Must have numbers on both sides and roof of car. 4) No aluminum or titanium frames, front clips or cages. 5) Wheel base: 103-inch minimum. Measured from center of hub to center of hub. Carburetors: 1) Any 750 CFM 4V carb or smaller. 2) Maximum 1 11/16" base plate bore. 3) Maximum 1" Spacer allowed. Fuel: 1) Gas only. No alcohol Engine: 1) GM Performance 350 hp Crate Motor 602's & 604's. 2) No Magneto 3) Aftermarket fuel pump in stock location. 4) After market water pump (steel or aluminum) permitted. "Fines for an engine that has been tampered with." $250.00 for the first offence, $500.00 for the second, $1000.00 for the third and so on. All fines collected will be added to the drivers points fund. Tires & Wheels: 1) 14" maximum aluminum wheels. Beadlocks permitted 2) Hoosier D-55 and American Racer tires until May 21st afterwards only D55's. All tires must puch 48. TIRES MUST HAVE ALL NUMBERS AND NAME ON THE TIRE. NO GRINDING OFF OF NUMBERS OR NAMES, ANY TIRE THAT HAS BEEN ALTERED WILL BE ILLEGAL AND CONFISCATED 3) No soaking allowed. 4) Buffing is allowed. 5) All tires must not be softer than "50" before or after the race. Transmission: 1) Any transmission allowed but must have working clutch and forward and reverse gear. 2) Automatic transmissions are allowed. 3) NO in and out box of any type allowed. 4) Drive shafts must be painted white with car number on it. 5) Drive shaft hoop mandatory. Minimum - 2200 lbs. after race for 602's and 2350 lbs for 604's. Street Stock Body and Frame: 1) Minimum wheel base 108” 2) Body must remain stock on original frame, and on original mounts. 3) Frame cannot be cut, modified, or altered in any place other than for fuel pump. 4) 5) May hull hood, roof, trunk, doors and fenders. 6) Fender well may be enlarged for tire clearance. 7) Floor pan must remain stock and unaltered. 8) Rocker panels must remain stock. 9) May replace bumpers with tubing; rear bumper can't extend further than 5” from frame rail. 10) Front bumper must be concealed by nosepiece. 11) Dash may be replaced by steel or aluminum, but must remain stock appearing. 12) No boxing of interior except behind driver seat. 13) All burnable materials and glass must be removed. 14) Firewall must be .030 minimum thickness steel or left stock. 15) Rear of car must be concealed by sheet metal or aluminum. 16) May use rear disk brakes. Rool Cage: 1) No offset cages. 2) All tubing in drivers compartment must be at least 1 ½” - .095 thickness. 3) At least 4 driver side door bars and ‘X’d on passenger side minimum 4) All cars must have a 360 degree sling placed at the front of the drive shaft. Sling must be made of steel not less than 2" wide and 3/16" thick and no more than 16" back of front yoke. Rear end and brakes: 1) Stock rear end or 9’ Ford permitable, but must use stock trailing arms. 2) May use rear disk brakes. 3) After market mounts on rear end housing may be no higher than 3” above housing for Ford rear ends. 4) Brakes mandatory on three wheels. 5) Locked or positraction rear end permitted. Suspension: 1) May run racing springs and shocks, but stock steel body shock. 2) One shock per wheel in stock location. 3) Cannot alter any stock parts except rear upper trailing arms for pinion angle. 4) ½” studs and 1” lug nuts mandatory on all four wheels. 5) No weight jacks or screw adjusters. Tow Hooks: MANDATORY - FRONT AND REAR. Cable or chain preferred and must be easily accessible. If there are no tow hooks, it will be pushed, towed or dragged off the Racetrack and NEITHER THE WRECKER CREWS OR TRACK PERSONNEL WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE VEHICLE. Transmission: 1) Standard transmission must have stock type clutch and pressure plate. 2) 10” minimum stock flywheel. 3) No trick clutch units, aluminum or automatic flywheels. 4) Must have all forward and reverse gears. 5) Automatic transmission must be full automatic. 6) Stock torque converter must work. 7) No disc or straight drives. 8) Must idle in all gears. Battery and Fuel Cell: 1) Must be approved fuel cell in can with at least 2 metal straps, and must be in trunk area. 2) Must have tip over valve. 3) Battery (not just the box the battery is in) must be securely mounted to roll cage and inside a marine type box to help prevent acid spilling and injury from explosion. Dry cell batteries must also be mounted inside a box. Tires and Wheels: 1) 11” towel city, AR-56, Hoosier D55, Hoosier RC4. 2) No soaking or softening allowed on tires. 3) Wheels must be 10” maximum; 2” off set maximum. 4) Steel wheels only. 5) May run bead locks on right side only. Engine: 1) Engine must be same as manufactures body. 2) Engine set back - #1 (or forward most) plug no further back than the top ball joint. 3) Engine bore .060; maximum cubic inches in Chevy, Ford and Mopar – 362. 4) No stroked or de-stroked engines. 5) Stock crankshaft and rods – no capped rods. 6) Two or Four-valve relief flattop or dish type pistons only. 7) Stock or roller tip rockers only, no roller rockers 1.5 maximum. 8) Screw-in studs and guide plates allowed. 9) Hardened push rods allowed. 10) May run headers. 11) Over chassis headers are allowed. 12) Exhaust must exit parallel with ground, no turn down exhaust, no 180’s or cross over headers. 13) May run any stock GM cast iron head. 14) No dart, angle plug heads, etc. 15) S R head # 4351 allowed. 16) 1.94 intake / 1.6 exhaust valves maximum, stock valves or stainless steel. 17) No titanium valves. 18) Intake = 2101 or 2116 or stock cast iron. 19) No porting, polishing, port matching, etc. allowed. 20) Stock Holley 4412 carburetor out of the box, maximum 500 cfm. May remove choke. 21) Ignition will be either stock points type or stock HEI. No MSD or after market parts or units. 22) No taller than 1 ¼” adaptor or spacer plate under carburetor. 23) Hydraulic camshaft and lifters only, 500 cam shaft. 24) Must have stock lifters, no mushroom lifters, and no cheater lifters of any kind. Weight: 1) 3200 pounds minimum,checked with driver in the car after the race. 2) All weight must be mounted securely with at least 2 – ½” bolts per 50lbs of weight. 3) Added weight MUST be in plain sight, painted white and MUST have the car number painted on it. 4) No weight on front or rear bumper or outside the body of the car. 5) Weight must be lead or neatly cut and mounted steel only. Buy Back Rule: 1) Buy Back applies to the top 3 winners only. 2) $1500.00 and swap engines. 3) You will not get the carburetor, pully, water pump, fly wheel or distributor. 4) The buy back protest must take place within 5 minutes after completion of inspection/tech. Pure Stock Body and Frame: 1) Minimum stock wheel base 108” 2) Body must remain on original mounts / core support must remain stock. 3) Frame cannot be cut, modified, or altered in any place. 4) Body must be full metal stock body for car being run. 5) May run after market stock appearing nosepiece. 6) Driver door may be hulled, but all floor pans and body panels must remain stock. Fender wells may be enlarged for tire clearance. 7) Hood must have hood pins in front. 8) Dash may be replaced with steel or aluminum but must remain stock appearing. * No hood scoops or spoilers*. 9) All bumpers must remain stock, if running after market nosepiece; front bumper must be concealed by nosepiece. Roll cage: 1) No off set roll cages / No ‘X’ing frame. 2) Roll cage must be at least 1 ½” x .095 tubing. 3) 4 driver side door bars and ‘X’ed in passenger side at least. May run front support bars through firewall out to radiator. 4) All cars must have a 360 degree sling placed at the front of the drive shaft. Sling must be made of steel not less than 2" wide and 3/16" thick and no more than 16" back of front yoke. Transmission, rear end and brakes: 1) Must have at least 3 wheel brakes. 2) No after market brake systems. 3) Must have stock rear end for car being run. 4) May change gear ratio in rear end. 5) May run locked rearend 6) Automatic transmission ONLY no power glide allowed. No straight drives. 7) Must have all forward and reverse gears. 8) Stock torque converter must work; must idle in all gears. Suspension tires and wheels: 1) No racing springs, no racing shocks. 2) All suspension components must remain stock and in stock location, no chains on rear end. 3) Tires 8” tread max. Towel City recap. Red Dot only or stock street tires. 4) 8” wide wheels maximum, no spacers, 2” off set maximum, right rear bead locks only. * 5) No grooving, soaking, cutting on tires. 6) ½ studs and 1” lug nuts minimum required on all 4 wheels. Tow Hooks: MANDATORY - FRONT AND REAR. Cable or chain preferred and must be easily accessible. If there are no tow hooks, it will be pushed, towed or dragged off the Racetrack and NEITHER THE WRECKER CREWS OR TRACK PERSONNEL WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE VEHICLE. Fuel cell and battery: 1) May have approved fuel cell mounted in can with 2 straps minimum, must have tip over valve. 2) Battery (not just the box the battery is in) must be securely mounted to roll cage and inside a marine type box to help prevent acid spilling and injury from explosion. Dry cell batteries must also be mounted inside a box. Weight: 1) 3,300 pounds minimum, checked with driver in the car after the race. 2) If added weight is needed it must be mounted securely inline with the center of the car or divided equally on each side of the car. 3) Added weight MUST be painted white and MUST have the car number painted on it. Engine: 1) Must be same as manufacturer’s engine. 2) Must be in stock location. 3) Engine must remain on stock mounts, no solid mounts. 4) 420 lift at valve; 280 at cam. No tolerance, hydraulic cam and lifters only; stock lifters only, no mushroom or cheater lifters. 5) 1.5 rocker arms only; no roller or roller tip. 6) No Vortec or Double hump heads; any other open chambered stock cast iron head only. No angle plug heads. 7) 1.94 intake / 1.5 exhaust valves maximum; stock valves; no titanium. 8) Heads must match block being run; (ex. 350 block-350 heads) you cannot run heads on 305 heads on 350 block. 9) No Vortec engines. 10) No screw-in studs, no guide plates, no hardened push rods. 11) No stroked or de-stroked engines 12) Must have stock 2 barrel or 4 barrel cast iron intake; no vortec intakes, no marine or bowtie intakes. 13) Stock crankshaft and rods; no capped rods. 14) 4 valve relief flattop or dish type pistons only. 15) May run stock 4 barrel Quadra jet, or stock 2bbl. Rodchester. Must have vacuum ports on carburetor. 16) No taller than 1 ¼” adaptor plate. 17) Must run stock manifolds, no headers 18) Must be stock ignition, no after market parts. 19) Maximum cubic in. Chevy, Ford, Mopar – 362. 20) Engine bore - .060 maximum. 21) All engine components must remain stock, no porting, polishing or match porting. 22) Pump gas or racing fuel, no additives Buy Back Rule: 1) Buy Back applies to the top 3 winners only. 2) $800.00 and swap engines. 3) You will not get the carburetor, pully, water pump, fly wheel or distributor. 4) The buy back protest must take place within 5 minutes after completion of inspection/tech. Front Wheel Drive HOGG Notice: This is a beginner class. Any drivers from any other class will not be allowed to move back down and run in this class. It is for new drivers only! Also you may only run in this class for three (3) seasons. Cars: 1) Any car 1988-1995 front wheel drive. 2) Car must weigh 3,000lb or more after race with driver. 3) Must remove all glass. 4) All burnable upholstery must be removed. 5) Must remove all chrome and molding. 6) May remove muffler. 7) Battery may be moved to a more secure location. 8) Belts driving the air conditioner,smog pump,etc may be removed. 9) Gas tank may be replaced with a fuel cell,but must be centered in the trunk area. 10) Insulation under the hood must be removed. 11) All cares must be neatly painted . Number and car color should contrast to be easily seen from tower. Please keep it limited to no more than three numbers or letters only. Engine: 1) Engine must be V6 3100-3800 and stock for the year, make and model car used. 2) No HO,turbocharged,DOHC or supercharged engines allowed. Transmission: 1) Transmission must be for the year, make and model car used. 2) If car came with an automatic transmission you must use an automatic. Suspension: 1) Front and rear suspension must be a stock,unaltered spring type for the year, make and model car used. 2) No air shocks, racing shocks or air bags allowed. Tow Hooks: MANDATORY - FRONT AND REAR. Cable or chain preferred and must be easily accessible. If there are no tow hooks, it will be pushed, towed or dragged off the Racetrack and NEITHER THE WRECKER CREWS OR TRACK PERSONNEL WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE VEHICLE. Tires/Wheels: 1) Must be factory wheels with factory size tires. 2) No mud or snow tires allowed. Safety: 1) Roll cage must be 1 1/2 X .095 tubing. Must have four (4) driver door bars and X'd on passenger side minimum. 2) Must have rollover bar behind drivers head. 3) Must have padding on any bar that driver may come into contact with. 4) No bars outside driver compartment anywhere. 5) Must use four or five point safety harness. 6) MUST USE RACING SEAT! 7) Must install nerf (U shaped) bar between bumper and gas tank if using stock tank. 8) Window net is REQUIRED. Safety Rules 1) All cars are required to have APPROVED roll cage; 1 ½” X .095 minimum. 2) All cars are required to have 5 point harness at least 2” wide straps securely fastened to roll cage or frame with quick release buckles. 3) All drivers are required to wear approved helmet with face shields or goggles. 4) All cars must be equipped with a dry type fire extinguisher no smaller than 2 lbs., in reach of driver while strapped in car. 5) All cars must have tow chain in front and on rear of car. You will be allowed to race once with out the chains the next time you will not be allowed on the track. 6) All weight must be securely fastened with 2- ½” bolts minimum. 7) All drivers in every class must wear approved fire suit. 8) No children will be allowed in pit area unsupervised at any time. 9) All cars entering or exiting pits must do so at a slow reasonable speed. Drivers leaving or entering pits in a wreckless manner will be subject to disqualification and/or suspension. 10) For drivers’ protection, screen or vertical bars are required in windshields area. 11) All cars must be equipped with approved window net. 12) Doors must be welded or strapped securely. 13) All drive shafts must be painted white with car number on it. 14) All cars must have 360-degree drive shaft loop at the front of the drive shaft. Protest Rules a) Only the driver of the said event, finishing in the top five positions and on the lead lap, may file a protest against another competitor, which finished in front of the protesting driver. b) Only one item may be protested per protest. c) Protest must be given in writing to the BCMS Tech Inspector along with the correct amount of cash with in five minutes of finishing the said event. d) If the protest is not filed accordingly, or is filed in a un-sportsman like way, BCMS has the right to reject said protest. e) Only the item being protested is available for inspection by the other driver. f) Only the BCMS Tech Inspector will call judgment (legal or illegal). g) The driver being protested can win that protest, but still be found illegal by BCMS Tech Inspector from other parts and be disqualified from that nights events. h) All decisions by BCMS Tech Inspector are final! i) Any driver refusing to accept a properly filed protest will be disqualified from that nights events, and will forfeit all money and points for that night and will be suspended for 2 weeks from racing. j) Any one driver may protest another driver only once for that racing season. k) If protested car is found legal, he/she will receive all normal winnings, plus (see chart below) partial protest money. l) If protested car is found illegal, he will be disqualified, forfeit all money and points for that night, and the protesting driver will receive entire protesting fee back, plus any monies and/or points awarded for advancing finishing position. PROTEST FEE’S 1) Top end of motor $250.00 2) Bottom end of motor $250.00 (in order to check bottom end, you must go through the top end, therefore totaling - $500.00) 3) Transmission $200.00 4) Suspension $200.00 5) Any other part of car $200.00 If found legal: 1) $500.00 - $350.00 awarded to driver     $100.00 points fund     $50.00 track tech fee 2) $250.00 - $150.00 driver     $50.00 points fund     $50.00 track tech fee 3) $200.00 - $100.00 awarded to driver     $50.00 points fund     $50.00 track tech fee Scoring
